For my graduation project, I designed the logo and branding (print + online) for a conceptual start-up company named "Revamp".
"Revamp" is a second-hand store with a focus on patchwork products made from old fabrics and reworked textiles. The store offers a multimodal approach where customers can bring their own textiles and use sewing machines along with receiving free advice.
Look & Feel
The imagery and visual language of Revamp are inspired by femininity, nature, and pastel colors. I wanted to keep the concept playful and elegant at the same time, appealing to both my two target audiences: young and mature women.
"When I started sketching for the logo, I was looking for an authentic look but also a certain playfulness."
Brand style guide
A comprehensive guide was made to help the client understand what the brand stands for, and what the visual representation of those values look like. All that to ensure consistent and aesthetically pleasing brand communication towards the consumer.
Branding Material
The branding material was crafted with consistency and a profound understanding of the target audience's needs. Every design element, from the logo to the color palette and typography, was purposefully created to form a cohesive and memorable brand identity.
Going online
In today's digital landscape, a brand's presence is not complete without a powerful digital branding strategy. To address this, several key components were developed for the branding approach.
This included the creation of:
- a brand video with clean motion graphics
- a responsive website + an online webshop
- engaging social media content
